About Aspen Private Chefs Amy and Ash

Ash Bown is a former head chef of Elevation in Aspen and  a graduate of The New England Culinary Institute

Amy Roth is a Food Network Chopped Champion and a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education 

Amy and Ash have been providing the ultimate dining experience to discerning clients for over 25 years. 

We look forward to creating a special menu for you and your guests!

Private Chef for Dinner Party

How it works

Step 1 – Consultation

We’ll discuss your preferences, likes and dislikes, any food allergies and the frequency of your chef service and your vision for what you require.

Step 2 – Menu planning

We’ll plan a menu that is unique, seasonal and exciting based on our discussion.

Step 3 – Book your Dates

We’ll book the dates you need a chef. A deposit is requested at this time.

Step 4 – Leave the rest to us!

We will personally source the best ingredients available and arrive at your home ready to cook for your family and friends

HORS D’OEUVRES

Mini Maine Lobster roll on Brioche

Blackened Tuna Tostada with avocado and Pico de Gallo

House made Ricotta crostini with local honey

Torched wild salmon with Yuzu vinaigrette

Pigs in pashmina with deli mustard

Crispy risotto croquettes with lemon aioli

FIRST COURSE

Arugula salad with local peaches, pistachios, beets, and local Chevre

Chilled farm stand tomato Gazpacho

House made Raviolo with scallops and lemon nage

Grilled Spanish Octopus with a smoky tomato confit

Summer vegetable French tart with flaky pastry

Margarita mussels, spicy citrus tequila broth

Grilled Mexican corn salad with jumbo shrimp, lime and Cotija cheese

MAIN COURSE

Rack of Colorado Lamb with pistachio fennel pesto, potato parsnip puree and haricots verts

Beef filet, sauteed wild mushrooms, Bordelaise sauce, sweet potatoes, and asparagus

Wild Alaskan Halibut with provencal vegetables and couscous.

Herb roasted chicken breast with crispy smashed potatoes and Brocolini

Miso curry Salmon with coconut, spinach and jasmin rice,

Cabernet braised short ribs, stone ground grits and roasted vegetables

DESSERTS

Toasted coconut meringue roulade, roasted pineapple whipped cream and passion fruit caramel

Almond cake with sautéed peaches and whipped creme fraiche

Warm cookie sundae in a cast iron skillet

Seasonal fruit crisp with vanilla ice cream

Strawberry arborio rice pudding
